Cool Down With Delicious Summer Fruit Drinks
As summer heat arrived we are all searching for ways to cool ourselves down and we strive for many kinds of drinks.
The most used summer refreshment drinks are old fashioned lemonade and ice herbal tea.But instead of artificial drinks to consume,it is always better to prepare fresh healthy fruity drinks by ourselves.
Lemonade is favorite summer drink which is loaded with vitamin C and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
4 lemons
2 table spoons of honey
1 l water
Preparation
Cut the three lemons ad squeeze the juice.Cut cubes from the fourth lemon for decoration.
Put in a bowl 200 ml water and the honey,stir on light heat until the sweetener melts down.
Then add into lemon juice and add 1 l of water.
Cool into fridge and serve it with lemon cubes,ice cubes and leaves of mint.
If you decide to refresh yourself with a glass of fresh prepared ice tea,then you should use your favorite tea.Just three ingredients you will need: favorite tea,ice and sweetener(maple syrup or honey). As additional refreshment you can add slice of citrus fruit(orange,lemon or lime).
The best ice tea to prepare are with fruity or flower flavor ,like Rooibos ,rose or hibiscus.Hibiscus tea is good for lowering the blood pressure, decreasing spasms in the uterus and stomach.It acts antibacterial and is loaded with anti-oxidants.
Hibiscus and Rose Tea
Ingredients
1l water
3 bags of hibiscus tea
2 table spoons of honey
2 table spoons of rose water
Preparation
Boil the water and add the 3 bags of hibiscus tea.You can use tea in bags or dried petals.
Take the bags out after 10-15 min,add the honey and taste if it is sweet enough according your taste.
After it cools down,ad the rose water and let it chill in fridge.
Serve with ice cubes and rose peals within the tea as decoration(or decorate it upon your imagination and creativity)
