Between the ages of 20 and 29, most people are at their physical peak and are healthy. Many have completed their education and are well on their way of independence.
However, there are also challenges associated with life in your 20’s.It is very important to maintain good physical health at early age and to implement good physical exercise habits in order to avoid healthy problems later on in life.

How you should start and what do you need to know?
- Practicing a healthy diet is good in order to reduce your risk for health disease and other chronic health problems like diabetes.
- Regular exercise and maintaining a healthy weight should be priority by limiting fast foods and processed foods which is scientifically proven that causes chronic deceases .
- Eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean protein and low- or nonfat dairy products should be regular on your menu.
- Important nutrients that young adults often overlook include protein, potassium, calcium, healthy omega-3 fats, and folic acid (for women during their reproductive years). Pay attention to portion sizes and the nutrient quality of the food in the plate.
- Avoid smoking or at least to try to quit smoking. Young adults are rushing to enter the world of the grown ups usually by copying their habits, thinking that it is the correct way to enter the world of elder people.
- Avoid illegal substances ,since not only they are ruining health, but the quality of life as well.
But,if you have decided to drink, at least it should be in a moderate way and you should never drive under influence of alcohol since you are putting yourself and other people at great risk.
As young people are slowly entering the world of grown ups, their organism is going through a lot of changes(physically and mentally),and proper guidance should be applied in order to make them familiar with life circumstances they are going to face.
By slowly preparing them for adulatory life,we are also directing them to make good choices that later on will help in shaping their lives.
