It is really a fruitful season with so many varieties of seasonal fruits and veggies – all of them good for our health.
Pumpkin is one of them, and there is no household that don’t make even one recipe made from pumpkin.
You all know how healthy it is in our previous article, and you should continue the tradition of using it in the peak of its season.
Besides all sorts of pumpkin pie recipes existing, there are also many pumpkin smoothies recipes you just have to try.
Here we give you 4 pumpkin smoothies and we bet you’ll have them on your morning menu during the season all along.
So, let’s get started.
Pumpkin & Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup of sliced pumpkin
- 1 sliced banana
- 1 scoop of protein powder (choose your favorite one)
- 1 cup of almond milk (if you can find vanilla almond milk even better)
- 1/2 tbsp of pure honey
- 1/2 tbsp of vanilla extract
- 1/2 tbsp of pumpkin pie spice (optional)
- 6-7 ice cubes
Preparation
Blend all ingredients until they are smooth and top the smoothie with granola, nuts, fresh or sliced dry fruits.

Luscious Autumn Spiced Pumpkin Smoothie
Fall is meant for using all kind of spices, and these are so appropriate for this smoothie.
Ingredients
- 2 tea bags of Rooibos tea
- 150 gr pumpkin puree
- 1 sliced banana
- 1 sliced apple
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tbsp of vanilla extract
Preparation
- Put a water to boil, and add 2 teabags of Rooibos tea.
- Wait for 5-6 min and remove the teabags
- Add all ingredients in a blender and smooth them.
- Taste to see if you should add more cinnamon or vanilla extract
- You can serve this smoothie warm or chilled
Simple as well, isn’t it?
Apple & Banana Smoothie Spiced With Caramel
Your kids will love this one.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 sliced apple
- 1/2 cup of apple sauce (optional)
- 1/2 cup vanilla flavored Greek yogurt
- 1 cup of almond or vanilla soy milk
- 1/4 tbsp of caramel extract
- 1/2 tbsp caramel sauce
- 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon
Preparation
- Put all ingredients in a blender, starting with fruits and adding the rest.
- Blend until smooth and top it with caramel sauce or cinnamon.

Butternut Squash – Orange Smoothie
This one is so good, that you’ll wanna make plenty of variations of it.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of baked mashed butternut squash
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 cup of vanilla soy milk
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 of ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of nuts by your choice
- natural sweetener (maple syrup, Stevia or agave)
Preparation
- It is simple as all other smoothie preparations. Add fruits first, and then all other ingredients
- Blend until you smooth them enough and taste if you need to add some of the ingredients
As you can see, there are so many varieties of pumpkin smoothies you can make. Just switch some ingredients and you can invent your own as much as you can.
