Before you flush, close the toilet with some hand protection before you touch it.Why it is necessary to close it when flushing?

Because contaminated water will become aerosolized and the spray of it can travel upwards for about six feet and you don’t want to inhale that. And not to mention bacteria will be all over the place.

When flushing, you can use some protective barrier on your hands like Kleenex which you should to throw away in the basket. Some people use their legs to do this, but you don’t have to do gymnastics in the jar.


Many people think that toilets are most dirtiest places, but wait to see what is going on in the sink. If you just wash without any soap, you’ve transferred all that bacteria into the sink surfaces. And if you touch your face after you didn’t use any soap – say hello to germs.

Banana & Chocolate Smoothie

Makes 400 ml


  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbs organic cocoa powder
  • 300 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 100 ml apple juice
  • 2 large scoops vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • cocoa powder or chocolate shavings to decorate


  • Peel and roughly chop the banana
  • Place in a food processor or blender with cocoa powder, slightly warmed milk, apple juice and ice cream
  • Process until it is smooth
  • Pour the mixture into 2 glasses, dust with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings and serve
