The Grounding Energy
In yoga traditions, the energy that corresponds to our connection and grounding to the earth is cultivated through the root chakra.
It is our first energy center that is located at the base of the spine. Through it,our body is connected to the universal source of life sustaining energy.
It is a link to Earth, associated with the basics of survival, strength, health, money and vitality.
A healthy root chakra means a strong connection to our inner self which in turn, is providing us with the possibility to experience life.
Without a strong, rooted foundation, little can be accomplished and other aspects of our life can become weak and unsatisfied.
The root chakra is what hold us up and together, and when we lose precious energy here, we feel unstable and insecure.
To only way to stay connected with your body is to connect with the earth. The support of this grounding energy keeps us anchored deep into the roots of the soil and grounded in the reality of existence.
By having a strong foundation and a healthy grounding energy, we are able to face what is in front of us with calmness and security ahead.
Staying grounded is not so hard. You can do it more often and see the benefits from it. In time, you’ll become true master of your body, mind and soul.
