What We Usually Do?
Usually, many people grab something quick and easy to drink while they go to work and prefer a sugary drink such as sugary coffee to boost their energy level.
These drinks do nothing for our bodies nutritionally, yet so many people around the world choose these over water as their preferred beverages.
By drinking only water, however, you can improve your health dramatically, and may even loose a few pounds in the process.
What is the importance of drinking water? What i gives us?
1. More Energy Boost
Water brings oxygen into the body. When your cells get more oxygen, the more alive you will feel. However, if you don’t drink enough water, your body relies on your blood to obtain oxygen, which therefore will make you feel more sluggish and lethargic. So, drinking more water will increase your vitality levels.
2. Differ Hunger From Thirsty
It is scientifically proven that hunger and thirst cravings do come from the same part of the brain, which may explain why so many people overeat ,and are not feeling that they are actually thirsty. They mix those same signals.
As you are increasing the water intake, you will notice that you have a decreased appetite, since water fills up your stomach and nourishes your cells just like food does.
3. Healthy Looking Skin
One of the biggest signs of dehydration usually appears on your skin. By drinking more water, your body eliminates toxins, which will result in brighter, clearer looking skin.
Not drinking enough water results in dry, wrinkled looking skin, because of the toxins which builds up over time and causing us to look older.
4. Lower Blood Pressure
Dehydration causes the blood to become thicker which results slower blood flow within the body. However, hydration allows blood to flow more quickly, which decreases your chances of having high blood pressure.
5. No More Joint Pain
Since our bodies are composed of nearly 80% water, replenishing water lost through sweat, will keep your bones and joints functioning properly.
Water keeps joints lubricated in order to protect the body during hard activities or unexpected movement, such as falling or tripping.
So, if you have joint pain, drinking only water (not other sugary beverages) for a longer period (let say about a 1 month), can help with this troubling issue of having joint pains.
6. Better Digestion
When you start consuming water(instead other drinks), you will start noticing that you have better digestion, since it is known that water helps to move things through our digestive system and cleanse the colon.
When body is lack of fluids, the large intestine soaks up the water from the foods you eat. This increases the possibilities of constipation, ulcers, acid re flux and other digestive issues.
7. Drinking Water Lowers The Cholesterol Levels
Being dehydrated means that your body will hold onto any water it can find so you don’t lose more water. Researchers found that people who are fasting with no fluids, their total cholesterol levels increases rapidly.
Therefore, it is concluded that lack of water throughout the day can cause dehydration and higher cholesterol levels.
8. Mental Clarity
If you have being dehydrated ,your blood volume will decrease, which means less blood and oxygen will flow to the brain.
Blood vessels in the brain expand to keep the blood flowing, resulting in inflammation and a heavy headache that many people are unfortunately familiar with.
Therefore it is recommended to drink more water, so you will not experience any kind of headaches.
