2. Bad Wet Hair Treatment
We all have bad habit of combing our hair after it is washed. But this action often leads to a strands breakage, since wet hair is more fragile than dry hair.
It is always best to let it dry before brushing it, and even then, avoid brushing it many times a day as you were advised by the elders. Too frequent hair brushing will result in plenty of breakage and hair damage. If you want to comb your wet hair, use a comb and do it as gentle as possible.

Try wearing down your hair whenever it is possible. When you tie your hair, make sure it is not pulling your scalp. Change your hairstyle occasionally and never use rubber bands to tie your hair as they can cause it’s breakage.
4. Styling Tools
Every girl on his planet loves to look chic and trendy but sometimes, following those hair trends can do permanent hair damage.
The heat from using blow dryers and other hair hot styling equipment, can surely lead to a severe hair damage. Never use curling irons or straighteners on wet hair. The excessive heat on a wet hair can lead to hair breakage and will make the scalp prone to hair fall. Try limited use of this kind of hair equipment.
5. Pills Usage
If you are taking the wrong oral birth control pills, they can damage your hair if you are sensitive to a hair loss due to hormonal changes during menstruation cycle. Before you decide of using any pills, test for androgen sensitivity to make sure you are on the safe side.
6. Head Scratching
If you suffer from dandruff, the constant scratching can cause cuticle damage which makes the hair fibers more prone to breakage.
Instead of constant scratching, try using shampoos with zinc pyrithione, tea tree oil or selenium. And if the problem still remains, you should visit a dermatologist. They will prescribe an anti-fungal shampoo or cortisone foam to help you with the itching and curing dandruff.
