In our lives, we tend to set many goals and we dedicate most of our time trying to achieve them in any possible way, and – we usually get lost sometimes during the process. Setting goals gives us a sense of purpose and motivation to strive forward and endure.

Be here and now. Be present today.This will give you permanent sense of accomplishment which will motivate you to move forward and boost even more your self-esteem.
See Your Progress
Occasionally, you can take some time to reflect on your progress. We usually set our focus on goals and forget about the progress that has already taken place.
Let’ say you’ve decided to put yourself on a diet aiming to lose weight. Don’t measure each day – live it alone. Learn from the process of detoxifying your body, see how pants are loosening and enjoy the process.
By doing so, you will get the visual proof of your progress which serves to you as a great inspiration for future advances and enhances positive emotions.
When You Do Good – Reward Yourself
If you achieve certain success, weather it is big or small, your mind expects to provide yourself with an appropriate reward.
Give yourself some kind of reward. Take a break and treat yourself by going to a movie, have your favorite sweet, or get a short trip with your friends. The choice is yours.

Constant reminders to be satisfied with yourself and the goals achieved – is the most important element to preserve your mental strength .
Try to remember to have fun during the process and do not take yourself too seriously. Enjoy experimenting and growth.
By appreciating the process you are in, and the lessons you’ve learned along the way, you will be able to avoid stress and negative emotions created even if you don’t achieve the final goal.
