Being a team player is something you need to have as a main attribute to your character. If you can’t keep your attitude in check, usually it is a bad sign for you.
No one wants to work with such colleague, and not managing your temper will surely influence badly on your team assigned. Your quality work will suffer too, and not only your reputation.
Your boss IS your boss.
Whether you like it or not, you need to have some kind of “obedience” at times.
If you have problems with everything you do, or you are short tempered, maybe it is time to reconsider of going on your own.
Is Your Company Going Through A Merging Process
Sometimes, when companies goes through a merging process, employees suffer most likely. Many are getting dismissed and criteria for doing the “sack” – vary.
Your new boss surely wants to bring some new perspectives for the company, and unfortunately, in mergers many are getting fired from both companies.

Your Work Is Getting Reviewed
Getting performance view of your work is a paper trail in case your company needs an official document that you are under-performer.
If you are unfortunate enough to have multiple negative performance reviews, later, it will become a sure sign that you might be on your way out when circumstances mature enough.
Have you ever been assigned to a performance-improvement plan? If you are given a second chance – sorry, but you might be just one foot away from the door slamming.
Tense Relationship With Your Boss
There were times when you were getting along just fine with your boss. Suddenly, you have different opinions on decision making process and that’s the starting point of him/her seeing you differently.
At the end, a boss IS a boss.
Suddenly, you are annoying your boss, and he/she is trying to find anything that can pick on you at any time, and for everything.
When evaluation time comes – be aware!
Bad news are maybe coming your way unexpectedly…
You Are Getting Less Work
Notice if your work have started to shrink, and other colleagues are getting more, and some of yours. It is one among many signs.
If you had some BIG DEAL to work on, and suddenly you are re-assigned to do something insignificant – you better redo your resume ’cause you’ll be searching new job soon!
Observe Your HR Managers Behavior
If you had good relationships with your HR managers, and suddenly they’ve started to act differently around you, it is definitely a sign of something going on.
They are avoiding you at any cost. You won’t even meet them in the kitchen for a chit-chat as usual. Overnight they’ve become too formal.
Something is wrong!
Observe Your Coworkers Behavior
As for HR managers, observe odd behavior from your colleagues too. Tea and coffee time you’ll start doing solo, ’cause they are nowhere near as usual.
To tell you the truth, I really don’t know why people are avoiding others that are going to be dismissed?
Fearing for their own job if their boss sees them together?
Are You Under-valued
When you notice that you are not invited anymore to important meetings, or sensitive documents are not on your desk anymore – it should start your alarm on.
And even if you ask anyone for the reasons of such actions, you will highly ever get a strait answer.
This may be a sign that you’ve lost your bosses trust in a way, doubting your abilities to finish projects or close successful deals.
If you’ve never received an answer for such actions – it is a clear sign that you’ll be packing your carbon box soon!
You Are Forced To An Absence Leave
If someone from HR calls you and telling you to get an absence leave – well it is red flag already. What to say, while on leave, you need to start listing newspapers, seeking for new job opportunity and hoping that this won’t happen again.
It is tough.
It is REALLY tough getting a new and well paid job these days.
And what bothers me most is when someone wants you out, so they can take your job position, and not by their good working abilities, but for pure envy that you are better than them.
Unfortunately, this is an everyday situation that many people are facing, but you know the saying: something bad happens for something good to come.
And it is true.
The next job might be even better and you may climb the leader even faster and higher than you think.
Work hard and reward will come by itself.
Sometimes, getting fired can turn to be the greatest thing that ever happened to you, if it leads toward creating better future for yourself.
