Home Workout? Good Idea!
It is really not so tempting to leave the couch and hit your but to the gym and workout. You’ve become so lazy that nothing can move you. You’ve set back for so long, that even a thought of exercising makes you hit the snooze button again.
Well, it isn’t any healthy at all. We are all aware of positive aspects of exercising and we really need to kick our buts and burn some fat off.
If you are not a huge fan of gym classes where is crowded and smelly, then you can make your own at home, just for your pleasure and fun. You just need to motivate again.
1.Use Technology To Become Fit
First of all, it is very important to set your own routine. As we live in digital era, it is easy to find any kind of workout tutorials on the net or TV. Tune in and choose from an endless amount of “at-home” exercise options.
Do some research so you can find what type of activities you’ll enjoy the most. You can always choose from many fitness apps or websites.
You can even transform your phone into a personal trainer, using live stream videos that will turn your living room into a fitness studio.
There are so many ways to get motivation and guidance. Do a little internet research where you can easily find a fitness routine that will work best for you.
2.Set Workout Schedules
It should be as the same when you make an appointment to a doctor or a dentist. You always write down the date in case you might forget it.
Let it be the same with your workout plans. Start easy, like 2 times per week and as you are going to get more muscle strength, you can level up your exercise plans to more frequent schedule.
Of course, when being a parent and a working person it is likely to find time for this, but you simply MUST find it for your own sake.
3.Set Working Space
If you have a gym in your home, then you are a lucky one. Not many have big homes where they can do fitness. If you have less space, then your living room will do the job.
And if you have a basement, even better. Make small re-arrangements and let it be you dream gym. It will look like you have a personal workout studio which will enhance your will to exercise.
4.Sports Dress Code
You know what I am going to say, right? Dress for success. By some new gym outfit and stick to the workout plan. If you have a spare basement room, put some mirrors on the wall to get you the feeling of being in a bouquet studio. You’ll see, it works.
5.Spread The Word
It is always welcomed to spread the word that you’ve decided to finally exercise. Why? Because it will be a driven force without even knowing it.
How? If you occasionally skip, and friends ask you how is your improvement, you’ll be embarrassed to admit that you don’t stick to the schedule. It will be a kick in a but to stick to your course.
If you skip, no results will show and in the eyes of others you will remain as the lazy person glued to the couch.
6.Set Your Video Camera On
Monitor your workouts by videotaping your sessions. See how you improve day by day, and when you hit that measurement scale and the arrow goes down – tap your shoulder and go further.
Make a video diary to monitor everything, and when you hit that laziness again, roll it on to get motivated again.
Working out is really tough and seeing results coming – you might give yourself a small reward. Even you stick to a diet plan on a parallel level of exercising, you can sometimes treat yourself with a slice of pizza( just 1 please) or a brownie.
But don’t exaggerate. You’ve come so far and you don’t want to ruin everything over more than one delicious slice.
8.What Else Can Make You Going?
- Write down how you feel after exercise
- Remember why you’ve started in first place
- Pop the question: Will I regret if I stop?
- How that energy rush makes you feel?
- Surround yourself with motivation
- Set micro goals
- Let it be your favorite thing to do
- Enjoy healthy balance of food and exercise
- Compete with yourself
- Track your success
- Feel your muscles stronger
- See your fat melting
- Always say: I can do it!
At the end, the best way to motivate yourself is to find a routine that you’ll truly enjoy and not making your at-home workout to feel like work.
